I have two stories of my stupid. Which is worse?

Story A:

Story B:

19 is a good age for really stupid shit. We'll say that I took your story B, and I made it twice as long. roughly 78 miles, roughly 110. Somehow there were no cops, and it was freezing rain, late january weather. Somehow I didn't lose it. Didn't even begin to lose it actually.

I'll NEVER do that again. It didn't even really hit me until a few days later.

Also, little commuter cars don't take well to it. My 4 banger was doing a solid 14mpg after that one because it couldn't figure out how to drive normally again for like a week straight.

I still can't even really wrap my head around it. I left my friend's place, and arrived close to home with more than enough time to get dinner and home way earlier than my parents expected.

How much of your 78 was divided highway? Of the 61 miles just 34 miles were divided highway (speed limit 70)

about 60 miles of divided highway with a 55 limit (I think it's closer to 70 though, I've never bothered to check). The other roads I was puddling through one town to leave, and another to get home. Too much traffic in either one to do anything stupid.
